Gary Police Confirm Double Homicide in Miller Section

An adult female and juvenile male were found shot to death in their home at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night according to police

March 24, 2019-Gary Police say a call for shots fired led to a homicide investigation in the normally quiet Miller section of the City. According to a statement, Police were called to the 6800 block of East 3rd Avenue for reports of shots fired at approximately 8:00 p.m. last night. “Upon arrival officers began checking the residence in question, officers found a female black adult and male black juvenile unresponsive inside the residence suffering from apparent gun shot wounds” the report states. Coroner investigators were called to the scene and pronounced both victims dead. Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey has not yet released a statement on the incident.

The Lake County/Gary Metro Homicide Unit is seeking assistance identifying two men who were pictured near the residence around the time of the incident.   1. How long are you going to let the mayor sell his fake narrative? Didn’t he open up a charter/voucher/lottery school? Didn’t he close enrollment? Now they are crying about the loss of kids has hurt the public school funding. Sounds like this was all planned.
