BREAKING: Two Chicago Police Officers Struck by South Shore Train

December 17, 2018-According to ABC 7 Chicago, two Chicago Police officers were struck by a South Shore train tonight near 103rd Street.  South Shore officials have only issued a statement that trains are stopped.  Metra officials sent out an alert stating that a South Shore passenger train had struck two pedestrians at 103rd Street.  ABC 7 Chicago and other sources are all reporting that it was two police officers that were struck by the train.

Chicago Police have not yet released a statement on the incident.  This is a breaking story, we will update you as additional information becomes available.
