Munster Police Seek Assistance Identifying Bank Fraud Suspect

November 15, 2018=The Munster Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the attached subject, who is a suspect in a fraud investigation.  On November 10, 2018 at 11:20 a.m., the attached subject entered the Chase Bank, located at 545 Ridge Road in Munster, and used another person’s stolen social security card, credit card and false driver’s license in an attempt to obtain money from that person’s checking account.  Chase Bank employees noticed the driver’s license appeared fraudulent and told the subject they called police.  The subject then fled the bank.  Anyone who has information on the identity of the subject is asked to contact Munster Police Detective Tim Nosich at 219-836-6658 or tnosich@munster.org.  You can remain anonymous.
