“The Munster Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the attached individuals who are allegedly responsible for a string of armed robberies in Indiana and Illinois”-Munster Police Department Press Release
August 21, 2018-Munster Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying and locating the suspects pictured above. According to a written statement from the Munster Police Department, the suspects are wanted in a string of armed robberies in Indiana and Illinois. “On August 15, 2018 at approximately 12:15 a.m., the attached subjects entered Speedway Gas Station, located at 9600 Calumet Avenue in Munster and displayed a semi-automatic handgun at a lone employee and demanded cigarettes and money. “
The attached subjects are also wanted in connection with two armed robberies in Oak Lawn, Illinois. On August 6, 2018 at approximately 1:52 a.m., the attached subjects robbed a Thornton’s Gas Station, located at 9138 S. Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn and demanded cigarettes and money. On August 20, 2018 at approximately 1:43 a.m., the same subjects robbed a Shell Gas Station located at 10601 S. Cicero Avenue in Oak Lawn and demanded cigarettes and money.
The attached subjects are also wanted for allegedly robbing a Seven Eleven (7-11) located at 7950 Crawford in Skokie, Illinois on August 13, 2018 at approximately 5:36 a.m. where they demanded cigarettes and money.
The subjects are described as a Hispanic or light skinned black male, 20’s, skinny build and the other subject, a female black, heavy set, short, in her 20’s.
