May 11, 2018-Lansing Police say they conducted a search on the home of a registered sex offender on Wednesday. According to a statement from Lt. Greg Schoon, “The Lansing Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on Mark Darragh’s home in response to an investigation stemming from several complaints from female victims.” During the search officers seized computers, cell phones and other electronic equipment “believed to be used by Darragh to harass and intimidate the victims” according to the statement.
Darragh was charged with 2 counts of felony intimidation and a misdemeanor count of harassment through electronic means according to police.
All criminal defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. A criminal charge is not evidence of guilt.
