Hammond Police Seek Assistance Identifying and Locating Theft Suspects

Hammond Police are asking anyone who can identify the women below to call Detective Sergeant John Suarez at (219) 852-2981. All criminal suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. A criminal charge is not evidence of guilt.

February 7, 2018-Hammond Police are asking for assistance from the public in locating and identifying the women pictured above. According to a statement, “On January 27th at approximately 10:45 a.m., four females entered Discount Liquors located in the 7400 block of Columbia Avenue. Three of the women asked the employee to retrieve beer from the back cooler and the fourth female went to the rear office and stole two bank deposit bags containing an undisclosed amount of money. The females are believed to be regular customers of the business.” Police say the females fled on foot and may live near the Columbia Liquors.

Anyone who has information about the crime, or may be able to identify any of the women shown, is asked to called a Detective Sergeant John Suarez at (219) 852-2981.
