Police seek information regarding the Jeep Liberty pictured below after a juvenile was hit in Menard’s parking lot. The Jeep may have a broken passenger side tail light.
Feburary 1, 2018-The Hammond Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating the silver Jeep Liberty in the video above. According to a statement, the vehicle may have been involved in a hit-and-run incident involving a juvenile. “On December 12 at approximately 7:30 pm, a silver in color Jeep Liberty was speeding through the Menards parking lot located in the 1200 block of 165th St in Hammond. The vehicle struck a juvenile male after it disregarded a stop sign. After the Jeep struck the juvenile, it continued through the parking lot and drove North on Columbia Avenue. The Jeep may have a broken passenger side tail light.”
