SOURCE: Hessville Armed Robbery May be Related to Munster and IL String of Robberies

January 24, 2018-Just moments after publishing the update regarding the Munster and Lansing armed robbery, the Gazette received a tip that a Hessville armed robbery may be connected.  We confirmed via crimereports that an armed robbery occurred on January 19, 2018 at approximately 2:00 a.m. at a hotel in the 7700 block of Corinne Drive.  The source, who asked not to be named, stated that Police believe the incidents may be related.   Hammond Police have not yet issued a statement regarding the incident which occurred 5 days ago.

Lansing Police issued an updated releasewith additional photos earlier today.  According to that statement, the suspects are believed to have been involved in armed robberies in Lansing, Midlothian and Harvey, Illinois as well as an attempted armed robbery in Munster, Indiana.
