December 22, 2017-Hammond Police were called to a gas station in the 3700 block of 169th Street today for a report of shots fired. The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. today at the All Star gas station. The Gazette was on scene and witnessed officers searching the area with flashlights. According to a witness, an argument began in the store and a man said he was going out to get his gun. The man in the store, followed the man out of the gas station and fired several times at the individual with whom he was just arguing. Several other patrons were in the parking lot at the time.
