Hammond Police Seek Assistance Identifying and Locating Suspect in Pizza Hut Robbery

November 15, 2017-Hammond Police responded to Pizza Hut in the 7300 block of Indianapolis Boulevard last night for a report of a robbery. According to Lt. Kellogg of the Hammond Police Department, the suspect did not display a weapon but stated that he had a gun and demanded money from the register. “The employee opened the register and the male reached into it grabbing approximately $100. The male fled the business in an unknown direction” according to the report.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black jacket and white hoodie with sunglasses. He also wore a black ski mask covering part of his face. Anyone with information about the identity of this suspect is asked to call Detective Sgt. Shawn Ford at (219) 852-2998
