Coroner Seeks Assistance Identifying Urn Found on Hammond Bike Trail

September 22, 2017-Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey is requesting help in finding family members.
On September 10, 2017 the Hammond Police Department was called to the bike path on the North side of Lost Marsh Golf Course. An individual had found an urn with a plastic bag of cremated remains. The urn is of hard plastic brown in color with the dimensions of 8.25” deep by 6.5”wide by 4.5” long. On the bottom of the urn is stamped Triple H Company, which is the company that makes these urns from Ventura, CA. On the front of the urn is a torn sticker with the name of GARDENS visible and a zip code of the last four numbers 2303. The writing on the tag is in green color.
