NWI Literacy Coalition’s Annual Adult Spelling Bee Sept. 28 at Ameristar

August 2, 2017-The Northwest Indiana Literacy Coalition invites you to a fun filled night of food, fun and spelling asAmeristar Casino in East Chicago hosts the Northwest Indiana Literacy Coalition’s annual Adult Spelling Bee on Tuesday, September 28, 2017.

Entry fee will be $150 for each team of 2 – 4 people, and all entrants must be 18 years or older. Participants spell off as a team, not individually. The spelling word list will be available to upon enrollment.

Teams will compete for top honors, as well as a $400 donation to the nonprofit literacy organization of their choice. All proceeds will fund NWILC’s literacy advocacy efforts for the upcoming year.

Pre-game hors d’oeuvres will be served free for all teams starting at 5pm, with the Spelling Bee to follow at 7pm. Whether you spell or not, this is an evening of great fun for a great cause.
