May 19, 2017-Meet more than 25 people who’ve made their dreams come true – they’ve written a book! The Hammond Public Library’s fourth Local Author Fair is Sat., May 20, 2017 from 12 to 3 p.m. Fairgoers will be able to meet the authors and have them sign their books, which will be available for purchase. The authors express themselves in various genres, including poetry, memoir, urban fiction, self-help, inspiration, children’s books
and much more.
Also, Rusty the RailCat will visit from 1-2 p.m.

Visitors to the fair may pick up an Author Passport, have it initialed or stamped at the various author tables, and turn it in to be eligible for a prize. The event is a fundraiser for the Hammond Public Library Foundation.
