Photos removed at the request of Lake County Sheriff
May 8, 2017-The Lake County Sheriff’s Police auto theft unit is asking for assistance from the public in identifying and locating the subject pictured above. According to a statement from Lake County Sheriff John Buncich, ” On April 18, 2017 at approximately 9:00 PM, an unknown male subject entered the Family Express gas station located at 109th Avenue and Randolph and purchased a can of chewing tobacco. The male subject then exited the gas station and stole a silver BMW convertible that was left running in the parking lot. The vehicle was recovered a short time later after it was involved in a crash. The unknown male subject may be driving a silver or tan minivan or Dodge Durango. The male subject in the attached photographs is a person of interest in this case.
