ATF Offers Reward in Christmas Eve Arson That Resulted the Death of 3 Children

April 20, 2017-The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a reward of $5,000 for information in an arson fire that took the lives of 3 children on Christmas Eve 2016. Jayden Mitchell, age: 5, Alaya Pickens, age: 4, and Yaleh Cohen, age: 2, perished in the fire at the Oak Knoll Apartment Complex located at 4200 W. 23rd Court, in Gary. Lake County Coroner Merrilee Frey ruled the deaths as homicides.
