Source INDOT release
April 11, 2017-The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces evening and overnight lane closures on I-65, between mile marker 260 (I-94) and mile marker 262 (Indiana Toll Road) Monday, April 17 through the middle of May. Crews will also close the ramps at 15th Avenue on Thursday, April 4, weather permitting to remove old asphalt and resurface the ramps.
During the project, through traffic will always be maintained on I-65 but will be reduced to one lane in both directions at times. INDOT urges drivers to remember that this is an active work zone and to slow down prior to entering the construction area. Motorists should expect periodic delays and allow extra time for trips through this area. Drivers should pay close attention to the signs in the work zone, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
