January 15, 2017-Hammond Police are on scene in the 5600 block of Hohman Avenue after a man reported he was shot in the leg. Officers converged on the scene at approximately 8:52 p.m. tonight. Officers located a man who was standing but had been shot in the leg. The man was transported to a local hospital. Police searched the area for two males who were believed to be on foot. Calumet City Police were also notified.
