Power Outage Strands South Shore Passengers

January 10, 2017-A power outage stranded several hundred Region residents trying to get home from Chicago tonight for several hours. South Shore rider Suzy Gonzalez began updating her family and friends via social media at approximately 6 pm tonight. According to Suzy, riders were first told that a 7:10 train would be running. “I don’t understand why they don’t run shuttles” Gonzalez said after finally arriving home after 9:00 p.m. tonight.
